 NTPC Recruitment Exercise for PRO Vacancy Session 2012-2013

NTPC regularly recruits young, dynamic and enthusiastic Engineers and Executives in various disciplines for its units and departments. Each year NTPC issues the notice for the recruitment of the Executives, this year too, it has issued a notification to recruit the Public Relations Officer (PRO) at E1 level for its projects and stations. Eligibility and Qualification Details:

Name of the Post:         PRO (read as in Hindi Jan Sampark Adhikari i.e. जन संपर्क अधिकारी)

No. of Vacancies:         Total 10 (UR-04, OBC-04, SC-01, ST-01)

Pay Scale (Salary):       All the selected candidates in the posts of Public Relations Officer will be placed in the E1 grade (IDA Pattern) basic scale of Rs 20600/- with a pay band up to Rs46500/-. All other allowances are also paid to the appointment posts.

Age Limit:                    Maximum age of the aspirants may be 37 Years

Qualification:             Required educational qualification for the PRO post is Graduation and either Post Graduate Degree (PG) or Post Graduate Diploma in Communication/ Advertising and Communication Management/ Public Relations/ Mass Communication/ Journalism with minimum 60% marks.

Experience:                  Applicants for the posts of PRO must have minimum one year experience in the relevant field.

Application Fee:           All the general and OBC category candidates need to pay Rs 300/- as registration fee in the form of ‘Pay-in-Slip’ (Challan). Payment must be made from any branch of SBI (State Bank of India).
