OPSC Recruitment Assistant Agriculture Officer in Odisha Govt 2012-2013


Odisha Public Service Commission (Orissa Lok Seva Aayog), state recruitment and examination conducting body of Orissa has released a recruitment notification in the official website for the appointment of the Assistant Agriculture Officer (Group-B) of Odisha Agriculture and Food Production Service in the department of agriculture, under the Government of Orrissa. Total 311 posts are vacant in the state government of orrissa.

Further details are as follows-
Name of the Post:         Assistant Agriculture Officer
Vacancy:                      Total 311 posts in which 155 posts are unreserved, 35 are reserved for SEBC, 51 are for SC and 70 for ST
Qualification:               B.Sc. in agriculture from a recognized university
Age Limit:                    Applicants must be in the age group of 21 to 32 years as on 1st Jan 2012
Pay Scale:                    All the selected candidates will absorb Rs 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs 4600/- and other allowances as per rules of government.

Selection would cosist of the Viva Voce Test, and marks in academics

Application Fee:           Rs 200/- in the pay-in-slip (Bank Challan) from any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). SC/ ST category are exempted from the payment of examination fee.
Last Date to Apply:       Candidates can apply online from 19th Sep 2012 to 18th Oct 2012
