Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society i.e. SSA Society Union Territory of Chandigarh has announced to fill the vacant sheets of Trained Graduate Teachers (Masters/ Mistresses) purely on contract basis for the period up to 31^st March 2013. SSA has mentioned in the advertisement that total 226 posts are vacant and filled at consolidated remuneration of Rs 20900/- pm. No other allowances will be paid.

Trained Graduate Teachers in Chandigarh

The subjects of TGT are Maths (38 posts), Social Science (44 posts), Geography (15 posts), English (25 posts), Science (NM) (31 posts), Science (Med) (19 posts), Hindi (39 posts) and Punjabi (15 posts).

Educational Qualification for the SSA-TGT will be Graduation with B. Ed or B.Ei.Ed. in relevant subjects. And also passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), organized by CBSE New Delhi as per NCTE guidelines.

Age Limit for the eligibility of the candidates is between 21 to 35 years as on closing date of application process. Age relaxation is also applicable for reserved categories as per rules of government.

Selection process is based on the marks in your Academic Qualification (Graduation) (20%), Professional Qualification (B. Ed/ D. Ed.) (20%), Higher Qualification (10%), TET Score (50%).  

Application Fee is Rs 400/- for all categories through Bank Challan. (Rs 200/- in case of SC)

Application will be accepted online up to Sept 4^th 2012.
