Canara Bank 2000 Probationary Clerk Vacancy through CWE IBPS 2011-12



Canara Bank, a most important Public Sector Undertaking Bank under the Government of India established in 1906 at Mangalore (Karnataka) by Shri Ammembal Subba Rao Pai which was nationalized in 1969 with other 13 Banks. Canara Bank has over 3600 branches across India.
Canara Bank is going to release a notification soon about its recruitment process of Probationary Clerk. According to Job News World (www.jobnewsworld.com) sources, Canara Bank will recruit 2000 clerks through IBPS 2011-2012. For these 2000 vacancies, only those candidates who have taken Common Written Examination (CWE) organized by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in Nov-Dec 2011 for Clerical Cadre. All the applicants must have a valid score card of CWE issued by IBPS, Mumbai. Canara bank has not released cut off score in total weighted standard score or individual score yet.

Clerical Cadre
No of Vacancy: 2000
Pay Scale: Rs 7200-19300/- per month plus all other Allowances as per banking norms
Age: 18-28 Years
Selection Process: Selection for the posts of clerk is totally based on the IBPS CWE Score in the Clerical Cadre and Group Discussion and Personnel Interview which will be assess by Canara Bank and this further recruitment process (GD/PI) will totally independent of IBPS.

Application Fee: Rs 100/- in the form of Challan from any branches of the Canara Bank or others

Last Date to Apply: From June 18, 2012 to July, 01, 2012 in the official website of the Bank.
