Syndicate Bank, a Public Sector Bank under the Government of India, has released notification for the filling up of vacant posts of Probationary Clerk across the branches in India. There is total 1000 Vacancies to be filled by this. In this notification it is clearly mentioned that the selection procedure for the posts is through Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by Institute of Banking personnel Selection (IBPS) in November 2011 for clerical cadre in 19 public Sector Banks. Syndicate Bank will conduct its own selection process in addition to CWE 2011-2012. This further selection process may consist of Group Discussion (GD)/ Personnel Interview (PI).
Only candidates who have taken the IBPS CWE for Clerical Cadre 2011-2012 and passed it with a minimum score i.e. cut off marks issued by Syndicate bank are eligible to apply for the posts and Bank has preserved the right to shortlist candidates among all the applicants of Syndicate Bank for Clerk for GD/PI process.
The Vacancies and Cut Off marks are State/ Union Territory (UT) wise and Category wise. This is now essential to apply for the posts from that state/UT from where he/she has appeared for Test. Candidates should have good knowledge of Official/ Regional language in that state / UT in Reading, Writing and Speaking. The Cut Off marks may be in Total Weighted Standardized Score (TWS) and in Individual Section.
