DAE recruitment 2012 for Scientific Officer 'C'

Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) wants to recruit the Engineering Graduates, Science Post Graduates, Who have interest in participating the expanding programme of nuclear reactors, accelerators and fuel cycle technologies, for the posts of Scientific Officer ‘C’ in one of the DAE units or Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).

The desirous candidates, who will be shortlisted for the post, have to go on One-year Orientation Course for the year 2012-2013 (OCES-2012) in one of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Training Schools (BARC TS). After successfully completion of this course they will be posted as Scientific Officer in one of the following DAE Units-

·         Atomic Minerals Directorate of Exploration & Research (AMD), Hyderabad

·         Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC),Mumbai

·         Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Ltd (BHAVINI), Kalpakkam

·         Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT), Mumbai

·         Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore

·         Heavy Water Board (HWB), Mumbai

·         Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam

·         Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad

·         Uranium Corporation of India Ltd(UCIL), Jaduguda

·         Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd(NPCIL), Mumbai

·         Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata.

 

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + GP Rs. 5,400/- +OA(About Rs 47000/-)

Age: 26yrs

Application Fee: Rs 250/-

Mode of Selection: There are two alternatives available-

1-     GATE 2011 or GATE 2012 Score OR

2-     Written test
