Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, very commonly
famous for its name as IBPS, is going to organize IBPS CWE PO / MT-III exam
tentatively in October 2013. For this IBPS Notification 2013 has been
released. This time 21 Banks (Other financial institutions excluded) are
participating in the Common Written Examination process. In the IBPS advertisement,
all the detailed information regarding to the interview and allotment, eligibility criteria,
online registration processes, payment of application fee, examination pattern,
call letters etc, but here you can see the brief of all. All the banks can give
the different names of the post but in the same cadre and pay scale as
Probationary Officer / Management Trainee.
This CWE 2013-14 is mere the short
listing process for the IBPS common interview conducted by IBPS itself with the
help of participating banks and financial organizations. Further details are as

notification individually and participate in the process.
Age Limit:
Age of the
applicant must be in between 20 to 28 years as on 1st July 2013. All
the age reservation and relaxation is as per rules of Government of India for
reserved categories.
Educational
Qualification:
Graduation Degree
in any discipline from a government recognized university. Candidates must have
secured minimum 60% marks in degree but SC/ST/OBC candidates are relaxed by 5%
marks. In addition to the above they must be computer literate having the
certificate/ Diploma/ Degree.
IBPS Selection
Process:
Initial
selection process is IBPS Online Written Test-2013 consisting of Reasoning,
English, Quantitative aptitude, General awareness, Computer Knowledge. The IBPS
Online Exam will have penalty as negative marking for wrong answers.
IBPS Cut off Marks
All the examinees
have to secure a minimum marks in total as well as in each section of the paper
to be selected for interview. In IBPS PO interview, candidates should achieve a
minimum of 40 marks out of 100. The total weightage of CWE and Interview for
the final selection is 80:20 marks.
How to Apply:
Applications will
only be received online from 22 July 2013 to 12 Aug 2013. Application
fee can be paid online and offline both mode. Fee is Rs 600/- for unreserved
category and Rs 100/- for SC/ST/PWD applicants.
