Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited- 622 Junior Engineer and Sub Engineer

The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited popularly abbreviated as ‘MAHAGENCO’ is the State Power Generation Company under the Maharashtra Government and largest power generating company in Maharashtra. The company was established in the year 2005 after the succession of Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MHSEB or MSEB). 

MAHAGENCO has recently issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of 444 vacant posts of Junior Engineer (JE) and 178 vacant posts of Sub Engineer (SE). There are total 622 vacancies. For the filling up of these vacancies applications are accepted only in online mode.

Junior Engineer (JE):

Number of Vacancies:              444 (Gen-330, SC-02, ST-65, VJ(A)-26, NT(B)-02- NT(C)-14, NT(D)-05)

Pay Scale:                                Basic pay of Rs.15285/- in the band of Rs 36965/-

Age Limit:                                33 years as on Aug 31^st 2012 (reservation is also applicable as per rules)

Educational Qualification:        (as on 16^th Sept 2012)

Age Limit:                                33 years as on Aug 31^st 2012 (reservation is also applicable as per rules)

Electrical :-	Diploma (Electric & Power).
Mechnical :-	Diploma(Production)/(Industrial)/(Thermal)/ (Manufacturing).
Electronics :-	Diploma(Electornics & Communication)/(E&T)/ (Electronics & Power)/(Power Electronics).
Instrumentation :-	Diploma

Selection Process:                   Selection process may consist of the online test followed by Personal Interview. Online test would be on Oct-2012 and PI would be on Nov 2012. But these dates are tentative and may be changed. Centers for the online test will be at Mumbai, Nasik, and Nagpur.
