Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC- Maharashtra Lok Seva Aayog) has released a notification of the Maharashtra Agriculture Services (Preliminary) Examination 2012. MPSC has decided to conduct the MASE 2012 (Maharashtra Krishi Seva (Poorv) Pariksha) on Aug 05, 2012. This examination would be organized for 214 posts including Junior (Kanishth) and Senior (Varishth) Officers. It has also been decided that preliminary examination will be in the city of Aurangabad, Pune, Nagpur and Mumbai or 4 district centers. These posts are vacant in the Agriculture (Krishi), Animal Husbandry (Pashu Samvardhan), Milk Production Department (Dugdha Vyavsaya Vibhag) and Fishery Department (Matsya Vyavasaya Vibhag).

Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800/-+Grade Pay +Other Allowances
Grade Pay for the Senior Grade is Rs 4600/- and for Junior Grade Rs 4400/-. Other allowances are as per rules of government.

Age: Age limit for the above posts is minimum 19 years and maximum 33 years as on Oct 1st 2012.
Qualification: Candidates should be B.Sc. (Agriculture/ Fruit Production/ Forestry) or B.Tech. in Agri Engineering/ Food Technology or B.Sc. in Agri-Bio Tech/ home Science/Udyan Vidya or B.F.Sc. or equivalent as minimum educational qualification for eligibility.
Application Fee: Rs 260/- for General category and Rs 135 for others. Fee can be paid through SBI Challan, Credit card, Debit card, Net Banking or Cash Card.
