Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC-Madhya Pradesh Lok Seva Aayog) has released an advertisement-cum-notification for organizing a recruitment examination for filling up of the vacant posts of the Taxation Assistant (Karadhan Sahayak) in Commercial Tax Department (Vanijya Kar Vibhag) under the government of Madhya Pradesh. MPPSC will conduct Taxation Assistant Examination 2012 on November 4^th 2012. Taxation Assistant helps in TAX determination and Tax Audit related works.

Name of the Post:         Taxation Assistant (in Hindi कराधान सहायक)

Number of Vacancy:     57 (UR-28, SC-09, ST-11, OBC-09)

Pay Scale (Salary):       Rs 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 2800/-

Age Limit:                    Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years as on Jan 1^st 2012

Qualification:               Graduation Degree in Commerce from a government recognized university

Application Fee: For the SC/ST/OBC candidates, who has domicile of Madhya Pradesh and Persons with disability (PWD), examination fee (including application fee) is Rs 90/- and for General category or any category not belonging to MP the fee is Rs 180/-. In addition to it, Rs 35/- is also payable as portal charge for all the candidates.

Date of Written Examination: Written examination will be on November 04, 2012 in the centers of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Rewa, and Jabalpur.

Exam Pattern:       Subjects for the written test will be General Study and Commerce. Both subjects will be in individual papers and time for each paper will be 2 hr.

Selection Process: Selection for the posts is made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and Interview. Interview is conducted only for the candidates who will be successful in written examination.
