Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission i.e. MPPSC has released an advertisement for the filling up of the vacant posts of Assistant Director/ District Statistical Officer (Sahayak Sanchalak/Jila Sankhyaki Adhikari) in the Planning, Economy and Statistical Department i.e. Yojana, Arthik evam Sankhyaki Vibhag under the Government of Madhya Pradesh. MPPSC has stated in the notification that the written examination for the recruitment of the Assistant Director/ District Statistical Officer will be on November 18^th 2012 in various centers across Madhya Pradesh including Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa.

Pay Scale:                    Rs 15,800-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs 5400/- + Other Allowances

Age Limit:                    21-30 Years as on 01.01.2013

Qualification:               Master Degree in any of the subjects of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Sociology, Agriculture Economics

Application Fee:           For the General category applicants Rs 180/- and For SC/ ST/ OBC applicants belonging to Madhya Pradesh Rs 90/-. Rs 35/- is also paid by each candidates as portal charge.

Selection Process:       Selection for the above posts will be made on the basis of written test followed by Interview. Written Test will consist of the three papers-

1-     General Studies

2-     Statistics and Economics

3-     Optional Subject
