WBSEDCL Recruitment of 1000 Office Executive for Graduates June 2012

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), a Government of West Bengal enterprise (WB PSU) working in the state for the generation of Hydel energy and distribution of this power energy. WBSEDCL is a subsidiary of West Bengal State Electricity Board(WBSEB) which was divided into two one is WBSEDCL and other is State Electricity Transmission Company limited (WBSETCL) in 2007.

WBSEDCL requires 1000 office executives. For filling up of these vacant posts WBSEDCL will conduct a recruitment process, which may consist of written test, computer proficiency test(CPT) and Interview which will be organized in Kolkata only.

Office Executive

            No of Vacancy: 1000

Pay Scale: Rs 6,300/-+20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs 3,600/- (Average CTC Rs 18000/- pm)

Age: 18-27 years

Qualification: 1) Graduation Degree with

 i)      ‘O’ level course of DOEACC Society, or,

 ii)     One year  Computer Application course or Diploma course in Modern Office Practice and management from any Institute recognized by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education or,

iii)     Computer Operation and Programming Assistant (Basic Skill and / or Advance Skill) from Regional Vocational Training Institute, Director General of Training & Employment, Govt. of India or,

v)      Secretarial Practices (Basic Skill and / or Advance Skill) from Regional Vocational Training Institute, Director General of Training & Employment, Govt. of India or,

vi)      Passed twelve standards in vocational stream from State Council of Vocational Training, Govt. of West Bengal with any of the following combination:

a)       Computer fundamentals and Programming and Computer Assembly and Maintenance.

b)       IT enabled services and Computer fundamentals and Programming,

2) Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) or Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) or in Science with Honours with Statistics or Bachelor Degree in any stream with Computer Application / Computer Science as a pass subject with 50% in aggregate from a recognized University or 50% in HS with 3 years full time Degree in the Bachelor level with the subjects indicated in the foregoing lines of this provision
